Mariah On High Learning Thru Play Childcare & Preschool
Mariah On High Learning Thru Play philosophy is to give a quality foundation with a whole child approach with anti-bias curriculum viewpoint so children can be grounded in human diversity to empower that’s not a tourist approach. Through our curriculum children will learn confidence, family pride and positive identity. Children will explore using their imagination through a discipline of music, and drama that develop motor skills, language skills, and decision-making, risk taking and ability to think on their feet. Having the training in Meisner Acting and member of Screen Actor Guild (SAG) I Lisa Finnie will share my gift. We at Mariah On High Learning Thru Play firmly believe every child should be given the gift of learning by the words of “I am” by practicing positive thinking and self-empowerment.
Lisa Finnie

Lisa is an Early Child Development Specialist/Trainer with a Double Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education/ Arts working with young children, parents, and child care providers through out the Bay Area. She is educated in Trauma training with Bryan Post the Trauma Expert: Parenting From Fear to Love, Foster Pride/Adopt Pride with Contra Costa County Children, and Nurtured Heart Training a relation -focused methodology founded strategically support and nourish relations between the child and adult.
Lisa was one of the six Contra Costa County Child Care providers enrolled in the CA Child Care Health Consultant Health Advocate Training and accepted her role as a Child Care Health Advocate. She also helped implementing a Family Child Self-Assessment for providers many years with a background in teaching CPR & First Aid, Anti-Bias Curriculum, and Professional SAG Actor trained in Meisner and has been a preschool teacher. Lisa started the Global Village For Healthy Families non-profit foundation 20 years ago in hopes that a positive outreach to families will that will create a healthy atmosphere for our community. Lisa is a mother of four and married to a successful Entrepreneur and loving husband. She is blessed to have her family involved with her endeavors.
